At Rising Moon Studio we specialize in unique one of a kind hand crafted artwork.

Rustic Furniture |
Our unique rustic pieces are made from wood we gather on the property.
It includes locust, hickory, cherry, sycamore, and oak. Autumn olive,
an invasive species, is also used. We have no qualms about cutting
too much of this shrubby tree. The unique shapes, bark, and twist of
the branches of the different species of trees, give each art piece
its own personality. Also used, are weathered boards from old barns and other structures in the area and rough cut wood slabs salvaged from local sawmills. What wood does not go into one of our pieces, ends up in our wood stove. The ash, bark, and saw dust go into our gardens. Not much is wasted. |
Home Decor |
These are one-of-a-kind art pieces to accent any room decor. They add interest, color and texture. They serve as a conversation piece or focal point. Wood and twig pieces compliment many styles of decor and can be used indoors, on the porch, or patio. |
Garden Accessories |
The art pieces from our garden collection will provide unique accents for your garden. They are made twigs we gather on our property. We use a variety of twigs including locust, hickory, cherry, maple, sycamore, oak, beech, and autumn olive. |
Doll Furniture |
The doll and teddy bear rustic miniature furniture is made to highlight
and display your doll or teddy bear collections. They can also be
used as a stand for your favorite indoor potted plant. Because of their rustic nature, they are not meant to be used as children's toys. |
Seasonal |
Our seasonal decoration include stars, stylized christmas trees, baskets, and other items suitable for decorating around the holidays. |
